Purpose and goal of course
This two-day weekend revision course offers intensive preparation for A-Level or IB
Mathematics exams. The course consists of 12 lessons covering key concepts and
problem-solving strategies. Students will benefit from the expertise of a highly
experienced tutor who has a proven track record of helping students improve their
grades.

Course content
Depending on the type of course, either A level, IB AA/AI, Standard/High level the
course will be adapted in contents.
General
The course will revise and train areas that students traditionally find demanding.
A-level maths (content description not exclusive)
Trigonometry, transformation of graphs, differentiation with optimisation, integral
techniques, proofs
Applied maths: hypothesis testing with different distributions and regression,
mechanics with particular focus on dynamics and moments
IB maths AA (content description not exclusive):
Trigonometry, complex numbers (H), transformation of graphs, differentiation with
applications, integral techniques with applications, 3D vectors
Applied maths: distributions with applications, kinematics
IB maths AI (content description not exclusive and for Higher):
Voronai diagrams, trigonometry, complex numbers, slope fields, implicit
differentiation, coupled differential equations and eigen vectors, 2D and 3D vectors
with applications, fundamentals of statistics, probability, distributions with
applications and tests, kinematics and modelling
If the course covers IB Maths Standard Level, it will be adapted accordingly
